IT’S HERE!! THE REVIVAL THAT THE WORLD HAS BEEN PRAYING FOR IS HERE!

I have never really known what that word means. It would be more accurately described as a reconnection.

Jesus foretold or prophesied it:

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

(Matthew 24:14)

It was prophesied as a great outpouring.

“And afterward,

    I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

    Your old men will dream dreams,

    Your young men will see visions.

Even on my servants, both men and women,

    I will pour out my Spirit in those days.”

(Joel 2:28-29)

This past Sunday, millions of people here and all around the World witnessed, on live television and the internet, a five-hour gospel teaching event, the likes of which the World has never seen before.

The President of the United States, The Vice President of the United States, The Secretary of State of the United States, The Secretary of War of the United States, The Director of National Security of the United States,  Bobby Kennedy whose father and uncle were assassinated, The Widow of Charlie Kirk, His Pastor, Dr. Ben Carson, all spoke the “Good News of Great Joy, Which Shall Be To All People!” They broadcast to the World that Jesus is the Way and the Truth and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father but by Him.

The Pastor proclaimed that all that God requires of us is that we believe and believe in Jesus, and that Jesus has forgiven all of our sins, past, present, and future.

Never in the history of the World have more powerful people collectively and at one time, boldly and fearlessly shouted to the World their agreement with the Gospel of Jesus.

All of the most powerful leaders of our Country, like the man they eulogized, overcame the fear of what people would think of them and the political consequences of their testimonies.

Charlie Kirk began his public ministry and outreach to young people in America who were being taught errantly and who had been intentionally confused when he was only eighteen years old.

He led with his love for Jesus and his conviction that Jesus was his Savior, and then compassionately and gently sought to share the Light of Truth with them regarding God, Family, and Country, while emphasizing the value of all three combined.

Charlie Kirk appropriately named his ministry Turning Point USA, which is precisely what he and his associates have done. They have created the greatest turn toward Jesus and sanity that we could have ever imagined or dreamed of.

SO NOW WHAT?

Right now, this very moment, millions of folks are turning to Jesus for the first time. They are accepting Him as their king. They need to be fed, shepherded, and led as Jesus challenged Peter to do.

They are hungry for hope and the Truth! They need to learn and absorb the infinite, unconditional, and unqualified love of Jesus. They need to know that Jesus loves them as individuals just the way they are, regardless of their behavior, so much that He died to prove it. They need to be taught that God has forgiven all of their sins, past, present, and future. They need to know that God does not have a scorecard.

They need to know that Jesus has already given them all things necessary for life and godliness, including His faith. They need to know that Jesus has healed them, given them His power, and empowered them to speak things into and out of existence. They need to know that Jesus has destroyed the works of the evil one and given them the power to overcome satan and all of his servants. They need to know that belief is the greatest power that exists. They need to know that nothing is impossible for those who believe and that nothing is impossible for God.

So we need to rejoice in this astonishing move of the Holy Spirit! It is an answered prayer of every generation, past and present. We need to catch fire!

We need to multiply our commitment to teach the Truth.

We need to walk in the boldness of Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk, and all of the speakers at that astonishing event.

As did they, we need to boldly reject the fear of what others think, which VP Vance admitted had handcuffed him a bit in his willingness to speak of his faith. He said that since Charlie Kirk’s death, he had spoken to more people about Jesus than he had in his entire life before.

So should we!

My commitment to Charlie Kirk is to do what I can to pick up his torch. I intend to give more, work harder, and be more outspoken. I am committed to making every effort to expand the footprint of our ministry dramatically and to be fearless in that endeavor.

As long as each of us has passion and breath, as long as we set our sails and join the race, Charlie Kirk’s ministry will never die. We can’t let it.
