DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH GOD LOVES YOU?

All of us are called and appointed by Holy Spirit to be evangelists. When we think about that position, we picture Billy Graham, Elvis Presley, and Mother Teresa.

Yes, Elvis. He probably led more people to Jesus through his gospel recordings than we can count.

We, each of us, are called to teach the love of Jesus to as many folks as we can, and that is what an Evangelist does. Being assigned as an Evangelist does not necessarily mean we are called to full-time ministry or to operate in the “Office” of the Evangelist.

However, we can all use our passionate love for Jesus as the motivation, the engine that drives us to share that love with others.

SO WHAT IS HOLDING FOLKS BACK?

This is not judgment or condemnation; there is a single reason why people don’t openly proclaim their love for Jesus and His love for all people.

FEAR OF WHAT OTHERS MAY THINK OR SAY.”

The evil one, who is the father of all lies and the enemy of God and all that is right and good, has done a masterful job of causing the children of God to be ashamed of or embarrassed by sharing the Gospel of Jesus and His love, and mentioning His name.

That is precisely why most believers call Jesus the Christ. Jesus was the Christ, which means the anointed, for the three years of His ministry, after which He returned to His throne and is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is not the Christ, and Christ is not His last name. He is God!

How often have you heard the phrase: “Praise The Lord!”,

which is unoffensive and could relate to any god. The evil one has asserted the “Coexist” mantra into our society. The chief proponent is Oprah Winfrey, whose “there are many ways to Heaven” statement.

The universalist dogma is born of the fear of being politically incorrect, or worse, being called or thought of as racist because being a Jesus follower is not “all-inclusive.”

All of you glorious Golden Givers have overcome these temptations by partnering with us to send the Gospel to all the world, in obedience to Jesus’s command. But you may know others who fight this battle. You might share this teaching with them.

Remind those who are embarrassed or ashamed to share the unconditional, eternal, infinite love of Jesus with others of this declaration from Jesus.

For whoever wants to save his higher, spiritual, eternal life will lose the lower, natural, temporal life, which is lived only on earth, and whoever gives up his life for my sake and the Gospel’s will save his higher spiritual life in the eternal kingdom of God.

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life in the eternal kingdom of God? For what can a man give as an exchange for his blessed life in the eternal kingdom of God?

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My Words in this adulterous, unfaithful, and sinful generation, of him will I also be ashamed when I come into the glory of God and His angels.”

(Mark 8:35-38)

THE JOY OF GIVING AND SHARING THE LOVE OF JESUS

There is no joy found on earth that can surpass the joy of helping another in need. The greatest need today is not financial, but more importantly, the need for the glorious and unconditional love of Jesus. There is nothing that one can give that is more important than a ticket to live in the glory of God’s Heaven. Because, as Jesus just taught us, this life is temporary and exceedingly fast, but our next life is forever.

Try asking the person who checks you out at the grocery store, the person who takes your order at a restaurant, your mail deliverer, someone who works with or for you, or someone who provides a service to you if they have any idea how much Jesus loves them. Tell them that they are very special to Jesus and that He died to prove it. See what happens when you do it. Tell them that Jesus loves them so much just the way they are that He sent you with a personal message just for them.

I do this every day, and I have only had one negative reaction, which did not bother me one little bit because frankly, I don’t care what other people think. Try it! You will love the feeling you get and the joy that fills your heart knowing that you have blessed someone with His love.

THAT IS ALL FOLKS, END OF TEACHING
