So when President Trump ordered the government to open and release all its information on unidentified flying objects, also known as unidentified aerial, or anomalous phenomena, folks started jumping to all kinds of conclusions.
The evil one was grinning from ear to ear, his ‘Science is God’ department has been fomenting the concept that the fact that visitors from other planets means that the Bible is fiction, for years. They are strutting around, puffed up and yammering at the speed of mouth.
The evil ones ‘The Sky Is Falling’ department and the prophets of doom have weak-minded fraidy cats hiding under rocks.
Flesh-minded folks who have always had a difficult time thinking about or understanding the unseen world of the Spirit of God are being blown to and fro with every wind of doctrine.
Some folks just don’t care. Some are oblivious to the news. All kinds of theories and suppositions are being thrown around.
I’ve been asked for my thoughts. Well, here they are:
First, it really doesn’t matter what they are to those who believe and believe in Jesus, because no weapon that is forged against us can prosper.
I believe that they are either weapons, designed and operated by the United States Military, or they are not extraterrestrial but extraspiritual.
“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord; draw your strength from Him, Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the strategies and deceits of the devil successfully. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the master spirits who are the rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly sphere.”
(Ephesians 11:12)
The spiritual war of God versus evil began with the rebellion of Lucifer and one-third of the angels, whom he deceived into open rebellion with God. It continued with the rebellion and disobedience of the council of gods that God created to manage the earth. (Psalm 82)
Angels have been coming and going to and from earth ever since. Jesus prophesied that we would see them.
“Jesus replied, Because I said to you, I saw you beneath the fig tree, do you believe in and rely on and trust in Me? You shall see greater things than this! Then He said to them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you that you shall see Heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
(John 1:50-51)
The Prophet Ezekiel was taken to Heaven and described a sight very similar to those depicted by the “UFO” images.
“NOW in my thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was in the midst of captivity beside the river Cheber in Babylonia, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud with a fire enveloping it, and flashing continually, a brightness was about it, and out of it there seemed to glow amber metal, out of the fire.
And out of the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures, or cherubim. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man, but each had four faces and four wings. And their legs, and the sole of their feet, were like the sole of a calf’s foot, and they sparkled like burnished bronze.
As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man on the right, the face of a lion on the left, and the face of an ox on the left; the four also had the face of an eagle.
Such were their faces. Their wings were stretched upward; two wings of each creature touched the adjacent wing of the creatures on either side, and two wings of each creature covered its body.
And they went every one straight forward; wherever the Spirit would go, they went, and they turned not when they went.
In the midst of the living creatures, there was what looked like burning coals of fire, like torches moving to and fro among the living creatures; the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. And the living creatures darted back and forth like a flash of lightning.
As I was still looking at the living creatures, I saw one wheel upon the ground beside each of the living creatures with its four faces. As to the appearance of wheels and their construction, in appearance they gleamed like chrysolite; and the four were formed alike, and their construction work was as it were a wheel within a wheel. When they went, they went in one of their four directions without turning.
As for their rims, they were so high that they were dreadful, and the four had their rims full of eyes round about. And when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.”
(Ezekiel 1:1-22)
The description goes on for several more verses and is just as profound. Paul reported in Hebrews chapter eleven that God created all things that are seen from what is unseen. He had never seen a microscope or a telescope. That was knowledge given to him by Holy Spirit.
Do the appearance of these unidentified objects portend the beginning of the end times? I doubt it. Most likely they have been going on forever. That does not mean that I doubt that we are in the beginning of the birth pangs.
Do I believe that there are unexplained phenomena all about us? Absolutely! I believe there are many amazing things God has created that we cannot see or understand because of our finite minds. Do I believe that what has been witnessed is not of man or God? Not for one second. Just my opinion. What do you think?
