Shopping at Jesus’ Store… Again

Shopping at Jesus’ Store… Again

As the Holy Spirit spoke to me about the products offered to us free of charge at Jesus’ store, the 103rd psalm came to mind.

This song that the Holy Spirit dictated to David was His prophecy to us of what Jesus would do on the cross.

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives ALL your iniquities,
Who heals ALL your diseases,

WHEN WE CHOOSE TO ADD THE ABOVE PRODUCTS
TO OUR CART, WE ARE FORGIVEN ONCE FOR ALL OF OUR SINS (past, present and future) AND HEALED ONCE OF ALL OF OUR DISEASES. (Hebrews 10:10, Matthew 8:16-17, 1Peter2:24, Isaiah 53:)

These things are not going to be done. They have been done. We only need receive by faith what Jesus bought and paid for us once, and for all by grace.

Shopping at Jesus’ store is so cool!!! He already paid for our purchases.

Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

How glorious is that? When we make Jesus our King, we get the crown! And what an excellent crown! The crown of loving-kindness and tender mercies. Is it beyond awesome to have the loving-kindness and tender mercies of our King lavished upon us every day? How did we earn the crown? Simply by loving King Jesus, believing Him and receiving by faith what He gave us through His willingness, ability, and power that have done for us those things that we can not or will not do for ourselves.

Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord executes righteousness
And justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.

When He did 10 awesome miracles to free
the children of Israel from the bondage of works in Egypt and deliver the them to the land flowing with milk and honey, even though they cursed Him, denied Him, created a false god to worship instead of Him, threatened to murder His favorites Caleb and Joshua, refused to listen to Him and required Him to speak to them through prophets.

The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

When we make Jesus our King, when we learn
who He really is by studying His Words and talking
and listening to Him, we discover that all of the negative
things attributed to Him are false. Does “Merciful and Gracious, Slow To Anger and Abounds in Mercy”; Line up with a God who burns houses down to teach us we don’t need material things or sends hurricanes to punish the wicked, or take our loved ones or murder people or take things from us
to teach us things or close doors?”

He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.

(The time is coming when Jesus will come to get
His followers. This is known as the rapture.
After the rapture and the tribulation, Jesus will
destroy satan and the new world will come to be.
When we enter heaven, there will be no striving
to get people to believe Him. He will have no need
to be angry with those who hurt His children or reject
Him for false gods. Jesus loves every thing He creates.
He does, however; become angry at evil.)

He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

(If He did there would not be a single human spared from hell)

For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

God does not keep a record of wrongs!!!!! (1Corinthians 13:4-5) He is not concerned in any way about our performance.

God is only interested in whether or not we love and accept and believe in Jesus. Our sins are our own business. Sin leads to the destruction of our physical bodies. We all sin!!!!! God removes our sins when we accept Jesus and they are gone in His mind forever! When we accept Jesus for real, we change. We no longer want to sin because we do not want to go against the wishes of the One Who loves us so much!

As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.

(The word fear here means to love, cherish, obey, respect and honor.)

For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
And its place remembers it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.

It is urgent that the reader understand that David was not redeemed by the blood of Jesus. He was a Hebrew who lived
under the 603 man made ordinances and the 10 commandments of Moses. Before Jesus paid the eternal price for our sins, Jews were required to keep the commands and covenants given them because they rejected God as their King. Non-Jews were not under the Hebrew Laws and Covenants and Commandments and never have been. The Law only applies to Jews who reject Jesus. They were given to the Jews only and for a limited time until Jesus came. (The book of Galatians and Ephesians 2:11-12.)

David knew God better than any human ever had. He reported that God’s mercy is from “Everlasting to Everlasting” which infers eternal. Does that sound like a scorekeeping punishing God?
Does that sound like a God who scourges and flogs those He loves? Does that sound like a God who heals some people but not others? Does that sound like a God who “blocks our blessings” When we sin? Does that sound like a God who takes things from us to teach us? Does that sound like a God who makes us earn things from Him by our performance and punishes us harshly when we sin? Does that sound like a God who demands that we frequently beat our children with large heavy sticks, to punish them?

Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.

Think on that statement “Heeding the voice of His Word”
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word became flesh and lived among us. John:1:1 and 1:14. Heeding the voice of His Word is to believe and act upon the teachings of Jesus. David means that when you read the Word, you are seeing and ingesting a living force that created you.

Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
Bless the Lord, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!

When one becomes one with Jesus when one dwells in Jesus and Jesus’ Word lives in them, they KNOW Who Jesus is and their heart and mouths naturally overflow with love and praise and worship and adore Him. If they tried to silence their praise they would blow their teeth out in so doing.

Wrap: All of the love, blessings, needs, wants, forgiveness, loving-kindness, joy, happiness, healing, prosperity, money, righteousness (right standing with God), and tender mercies of Jesus are wresting in packages in Jesus’ store waiting for us to come to get them at no charge. All we need do is receive by faith what Jesus bought us with His grace, which is everything.

When I was a teenager, I worked at Sears which at that time was the Amazon, Walmart and the mall, all wrapped in one. They were It. One day they advertised a super saver day, not different from black Friday. Their big offer was a $125 black and white television set.

Early that morning my boss told me that I was to have the honor of unlocking the doors on our side of the store which is where most people entered.

I looked outside at what appeared to be an angry mob out for blood. Having never done this, I was to ignorant of coming events to be properly afraid.

When I opened the door I was almost literally crushed by what appeared to be Pharaoh’s army stampeding like a frightened herd of cows. I ran as fast as I could to a counter and jumped on top just in time to save my body from being broken to pieces by a gaggle of rushing maniacs led by a woman who must have been 8 months pregnant.

They charged full speed, led by future mom right up to the down escalator at warp speed to beat the rest to the TV department.

I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. I couldn’t sleep for days, my dreams were about being stomped to death by those angry women. I can still see their frantic faces.

So, why aren’t we stampeding to Jesus’ store to accept the most wonderful products ever, at no charge?
