At various times, Jesus did all of these things and commanded His disciples to do the same.
Then He empowered all of His believers to do the same thing and even greater things. Check this out:
“Truly, truly, I say to you, WHOEVER Believes in Me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do because I go to My Father.”
(John 14:12)
Hard to believe, isn’t it? Yet, we have no problem believing John 3:16. It must be an odd proposition to declare to Jesus that we believe some of His Words but not all of them.
SO LET’S TAKE A SPIRITUAL LOOK AT THESE COMMANDS
CAST OUT DEMONS!
Demons can not exist in the presence of Jesus. So when one believes and believes in Jesus, any demons evacuate the premises. So when we teach the Gospel of Jesus and the hearer receives, and believes, and believes in Jesus, we have cast out demons.
HEAL THE SICK!
When we teach the sick that Jesus healed every known and unknown disease, and they believe and receive those promises, they are healed. When we teach those who are spiritually sick and lost the Gospel, and they believe and believe in Jesus, they are healed for all eternity.
RAISE THE DEAD!
I was recently asked if I had ever raised the dead. The answer is frequently! So can you. When one is ignorant of the salvation that can only come from believing and believing in Jesus, they are stone-cold dead for all eternity! When we teach them the Gospel of Jesus, and they believe, and believe in Him, they are restored to life and have been truly restored to life. Yes, we can and must raise the dead!
RESTORE SIGHT TO THE BLIND!
The world around us is full of Spiritual Blindness. Jesus is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life! No one comes to the Father but by Him. Millions of His children have been deceived by insane neo-christianity and unitarianism that teaches that there are “many ways to heaven” as espoused by fools like Oprah Winfrey and others. Billions of people are dancing into eternal torment and separation from God by rejecting Jesus and following false religions.
You are restoring their sight by sending us to teach the Truth. With your help, we are teaching millions of folks all around the world the Truth.
You are obeying every one of these commands every day.
