THE PROOF!
“Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life for an upright man, though perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor, someone might even dare to die.
But God shows and PROVES HIS LOVE FOR US BY THE FACT THAT WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, JESUS DIED FOR US! “
(Romans 5-7-8)
“GREATER LOVE HAS NO MAN THAN THIS THAT HE LAYS DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS.”
(John 15:13)
“For God so dearly prizes the world (fill in your name) that He gave His only begotten Son (Himself in an earth suit, that He left His glorious Heaven to become a human being and suffer the most horrible death any human ever will) so that WHOSOEVER believes and believes in Him will never perish but will live with Him in Heaven forever.
For God did not send His Son into the world to judge, condemn, or pass sentence on the world (you, fill in your name here) but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
He who believes in and believes Him is not judged or condemned, but he who does not believe is judged already because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
(John 3:16-18)
This year as you see Passion Plays or the movie “The Passion of the Cross” or hear the story of the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of our King, remember that it was all about how much God the Father, God Jesus, and God Holy Spirit love you just the way you are.
Jesus knew in advance that the brutality and cruelty poured on Him was coming. Yet, He endured it and felt every sting of the whip, the piercing of the thorns on His head, the pain of the crucifixion, the weight of your sins, and every disease known and unknown to man to PROVE HIS LOVE FOR YOU!
Jesus said this:
“Now, My soul is troubled and deeply distressed; what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour of trial and agony’? But it is for this purpose I have come to this hour, this time and place.
Instead, I will say, ‘Father, glorify honor, extol Your name!’ Then a voice came from heaven saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”
The crowd of people who stood nearby and heard the voice said that it had thundered; others said, “An angel has spoken to Him!” Jesus answered, “This voice has come for your sake, not mine.
Now judgment is upon this world; the sentence is being passed. Now the ruler of this world (Satan) will be cast out.
And if and when I am lifted up from the earth on the cross, I will draw all people to Myself, Gentiles, and Jews.”
(John 12:27-32)
He also said this:
“Do not think I have come to do away with or undo the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to do away with or undo but complete and fulfill them.
I tell you that until the sky and earth pass away and perish, not one smallest letter nor one little hook will pass from the Law until all things are accomplished.”
(Matthew 5:17-18)
THEN, HE ACCOMPLISHED THEM!
“And Jesus cried out again with a loud [agonized] voice and gave up His spirit voluntarily, sovereignly dismissing and releasing His Spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan.
And immediately, the veil of the Holy of Holies of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; the earth shook, and the rocks were split apart. The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints (God’s people) who had fallen asleep in death were raised to life. Comingout of the tombs after His resurrection, they entered the holy city (Jerusalem) and appeared to many people.
Now, the centurion, and those with him keeping guard over Jesus when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, were terribly frightened and filled with awe and said, “Truly, this was the Son of God!”

THE ESSENCE OF EASTER
The instant that Jesus breathed His last breath, the veil of the temple, which protected the arc of the covenant, the container that held the ten commandments and separated Jews from God, was torn in half, which means that the Law had been fulfilled, accomplished and done away with.
At that instant, Jesus freed the Jews from the Law of sin and death and the six hundred and three attached man-made ordinances which only applied to them. We, the gentiles (Non-Jews), were never under the Law.
(Romans 8:2, Ephesians 2:8-12)
The Gentiles (us, all non-Jews) who were never a part of
The Law were freed from a performance-based relationship with God when Jesus was lifted up on the cross.
Those who accept Jesus live in a Grace through Faith relationship with God. When you make Him your King, your relationship with God is no longer about what you do but what Jesus did.
( Ephesians 2:8-12, Romans 5:1-2)
JESUS PROVED HOW MUCH HE LOVES YOU BY HIS
GRUESOME DEATH. HE BOUGHT YOU! YOU NOW HAVE
THE FREE TICKET TO LIVE WITH HIM FOR ETERNITY, BASKING IN HIS LOVE, JOY, AND GLADNESS.
All you need to do is believe in Him!
“Then they said, What are we to do, that we may be habitually working the works of God! What are we to do to carry out what God requires?
Jesus replied, “This is the work that God asks of you, THAT YOU BELIEVE IN THE ONE WHOM HE HAS SENT!”
(John 6:28-29)
This Easter season, receive and soak in the infinite love that Jesus PROVED that He has for you. Remember that His brutal whipping paid for all your past, present, and future sins. Meditate on His love, not your sin.

COMMUNION
Communion is not eating a wafer and drinking grape juice. Communion is eating His flesh, which means deciding to believe His Words beyond doubt. Drinking His blood is believing beyond a doubt that Jesus guaranteed every Word and promise He made with His blood!
PRAISE, LAUDATION, AND EULOGY BE TO THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!
