Jesus Is the Way

JESUS IS THE WAY

Jesus said to him, “I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE; no one ever comes to the Father except by Me!”

(John 14:6)

Have you ever asked God to show you the Way? In a moment of feeling overwhelmed and heavily burdened by the vicissitudes of life, such as fear of financial insecurity, depression, sadness, overwhelming grief at the loss of a loved one, enduring the pain of a miscarriage, facing a bad report from a doctor, the loss of a job or enduring the pain of being underemployed,

a car accident, the loss of an expected gain, have you ever felt that there was no place to turn or no hope for your anxieties, worries, fears, and suffering? Have you ever believed that there is no way to deal?

There is a WAY. And I can assure you that it is the Only WAY to find what you seek. In the WAY, you will find understanding, compassion, mercy, forgiveness, peace, strength, courage, hope, joy, gladness, and, most importantly, the unconditional love you seek and need.

Drugs will not help. Alcohol will not help. They merely mask the problem and, in most cases, make them worse. Sometimes when people are sad, they turn to alcohol for help. The problem is that alcohol is a depressant that takes them deeper into despair, especially during and after the hangover.

JESUS IS THE WAY!

The early believers in Jesus were called the followers of THE WAY

Jesus does not judge us for feeling sad and overwhelmed. On the contrary, He welcomes and understands us because He has suffered from all our problems. Here is Jesus’s message to those who answered yes to the question.

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn about Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy to bear, and My burden is light.

(Matthew 11:28)

This tremendous promise from Jesus has two meanings. The first is that His Gospel of salvation and blessings through belief and not works takes away the impossible burden of trying to earn both by our performance. The second is that we can come to Him and lean on Him and His wonderful promises when we are burdened and struggling with anything, and He has given us rest.

Whatever the mountain is in our lives, Jesus has overcome it and given us the power to command it to disappear ourselves.

Here is a message from the King of Kings for us:

I have told you these things so that in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence. In the world, you have tribulation, trials, distresses, and frustration; be of good cheer, take courage, be confident, be certain, and be strong! For I have overcome the world.”

(John 16:33)

And Jesus, replying, said, to them, “Have faith in God.

Truly, I tell you, WHOEVER says to this mountain (whatever the mountain is in our lives), Be lifted up and thrown into the sea and DOES NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART (That is the hard part) BUT BELIEVES (That is the other hard part) that what he says will happen, IT WILL (not might) be done for him.” For this reason, I am telling you, WHATEVER you ask in prayer, believe that it is granted to you, and you WILL GET IT!”

(Mark 11:22-24)

Jesus gave us this power before He died on the cross and guaranteed to us, with His blood,  ALL THINGS that pertain to life and Godliness, everything we will ever need or want, including His unconditional eternal, infinite love, eternal life with Him in His World, The Holy Spirit, His faith, forgiveness of all of our sins, past, present, and future, healing, peace, joy, gladness and the treasures stored up for us in Heaven.

(2 Peter 1:1-4, Psalm 103:1-3 and 12, Isaiah 53:4-5, 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:16-17, Luke 6:38, 2Corinthians 9:6-14, John 16:13, John 1:29, Hebrews 8:12, Hebrews 10:10-18, John 17:13, Matthew 6:19-21)

Jesus also taught us how to receive all these things, BELIEF. That is right; all that is required of us to be saved and receive all of the blessings God has lavished on us is to believe and believe in Jesus!

(John 6:28-29)

Jesus taught us how to live by living in this present moment which is His address when He commanded us to take no thought for tomorrow because sufficient unto the day is the trouble thereof.

Jesus loves us so much that He gave us the Holy Spirit to comfort us, guide us into all truth, and show us the things to come.

Finally, Jesus taught us to seek first God’s righteousness (the free gift of right standing with God, which comes from belief in Jesus. Through the knowledge of His Words), and then all these things (the desires of our hearts) will be added to us as well.

(Matthew 6:25-34)

We can do all things; we can bear any trials and burdens. We can overcome fear, worry, anxiety, and doubt through Jesus, who has given us the strength to do it.

(Philippians 4:13)

When the going gets tough, remember this. Jesus loves you personally just the way you are, without regard for your behavior, so much that He left His glorious Heaven and came to earth put on a flesh suit, was tempted at all points and in all things just as we are, suffered and died the worst death anyone ever has or ever will to buy you for Himself so that you would be with Him in glory forever because YOU are HIS glorious inheritance.

(Ephesians 1:11)

So no matter what you are going through, remember that He is beside you and in you, and He loves you so much, just the way you are, that He will never leave or forsake you.

Pretty cool, huh?
