Jesus promised us that if we continue in His Word, we will indeed be His disciples and that we will know the Truth and the Truth will make us free.
(John 8:31-32)
Meaning that if we live in His Word, if they are the most essential thing in our lives, if we learn them, consume them, believe them without doubt, and act on them, we will be made free!
Today, we are under continual bombardment from the lies of the evil one broadcast across all formats and platforms. We hear and see and are led to participate in: negativity, pessimism, moral decay, unreasoning fear, anxiety, gloom, despair, sadness, doubt, unbelief, fear of lack and economic insecurity, fear of ill health, anger, scorekeeping, bitterness, low self-esteem, judgment, and condemnation of ourselves and others.
The evil one and his fellow doom sellers want us to believe that our lives are toxic and will never improve, and that our current circumstances are our best lives.
BUT THE TRUTH WILL MAKE US FREE!
Because the Words of Jesus contain His Great and Precious Promises, we learn and are reminded that He guaranteed them with His blood. We learn that our relationship with God is about what He did, not what we do. We learn that Jesus came so that we would have life and have it in abundance. We learn that He instructed us how to multiply money, that He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, including His faith, that He healed us, saved us, forgave us, gave us of every sin we ever committed, past, present, and future. He made us be found not guilty in the eyes of God. We learn He gave us His power, defeated the evil one for us, gave us the indwelling Holy Spirit, moved into us, and made us an eternal member of His family. We learn that He gave us the power to speak things into and out of existence, and that He came so that His joy would be in us, and that our joy and gladness would be complete and overflowing!

THE ASTOUNDING TRUTH
The astounding Truth, the mystery of the ages sought by wise men and Kings since the creation, is that Jesus is the Way and The Truth and The Life, and no one comes to the Father but by Him. The astounding Truth is that all of the blessings of Jesus came on us THE INSTANT WE BELIEVED AND BELIEVED IN HIM. The astounding Truth is that none of His blessings and promises can be earned. They were bought and paid for by His blood and are ours for only believing and believing in Him.
THE CHOICE
The fact is that God did not choose for us to be robots. If He wanted to be in control, as some errantly believe, that is what He would have made us. Instead, He chose to give us free will to behave and believe as we choose.
“THIS DAY I CALL THE HEAVENS AND EARTH AS WITNESSES AGAINST YOU THAT I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU LIFE AND DEATH, BLESSINGS AND CURSINGS. NOW, CHOOSE LIFE, SO THAT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN MAY LIVE!”
(Deuteronomy 30:19)
What we fight with all our might to believe, regardless of what we see, is what we will have. If we believe the promises of Jesus, we will see them come true in our lives because from the overflow of our hearts, our mouths and minds will speak them into existence. The opposite is true as well. If we buy into the lies the evil one spins about us, we will walk in them as well, for the same reason.
This is an eternal truth, a fact taught to us by Jesus. From the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks, and we will have what we say as long as we do not doubt in our hearts.
