DOES HE CARE ABOUT ME?
A person recently responded to one of our teachings with the comment that he prays, but his prayers are never answered, and he believes that his miserable life condition is because Jesus doesn’t hear him or care about him. Frankly, his comment fired me up.
My heart was filled with compassion for the man and contempt for those who could and should have taught him the Truth. The only Truth! The full unedited, uncompromised, unqualified Gospel of Good News Of Great Joy, Which Shall be to all people. The Gospel that details the depth and breadth of the infinite love that Jesus has for each of us and the price He paid to prove it.
Having learned the painful truth about the false and harmful hogwash that religion pounds on its hostages, I completely understand the foundation of this man’s suffering. If I believed their tripe, I would feel the same way.
Religion teaches its poor, suffering victims that their relationship with God is based on their performance or lack thereof. Since the blind sheep sit in a pew looking up at the “Man of God,” they are led to the credible but very wrong conclusion that he would never deceive them or knowingly or ignorantly perpetuate false teachings. Yet, it happens constantly. This poor fellow has probably heard and believed many of them.
Here are a few of religion’s holy cows:
“God will not bless a mess.” “You don’t have enough faith!” “You must add to, multiply, and increase your faith!” “Faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing.”
“That is greasy grace.” “The promises of Jesus were meant only for the disciples!” “Sometimes God takes things from us to teach us!” “Sometimes God tempts us!”
The Good Lord gives, and the good Lord takes away!”
“You need to get right with God!” “You must confess, repent, and be baptized to receive God’s blessings and be saved.” “To be healed or blessed, you must pray.”
“You must perpetually ask God for forgiveness.”
These are just a few of their prime lies. In addition to indoctrinating Jesus’s flock with this kind of hooey, they refuse to teach the true Gospel of “Good News Of Great Joy”!
Anybody who hears and believes the nonsense of the works church and remains ignorant of the promises of Jesus might feel the same way as the one who made that sad statement.
The Holy Spirit dictated book:
“Why Jesus Ain’t Gonna Do Nothin!”
Available wherever books are sold online, features an entire chapter titled “Shooting Holy Cows.” It dispels them and explains why. It is a dissertation about the truth of the Gospel, the infallible promises of Jesus, and how He has already done everything we need or desire. It was created and published for such a person as the one who asked that sincere but sad question. It explains in detail what Jesus meant when He declared loudly, “IT IS FINISHED!”
You may know the truth and live in this present moment joyfully celebrating the receipt of the great and precious promises of Jesus but have the same types of statements and questions asked you by people who don’t. So let’s tackle the hooey and prepare you to unleash the TRUTH.
DOES JESUS CARE ABOUT US AS INDIVIDUALS?
While we were in our deepest, darkest sins, Jesus died the most horrid death anyone ever could to PROVE HIS LOVE FOR US! (Romans 5:8)
“For God so loves the world (You fill in your name) that He came to earth, put on an earth suit, lived among us for thirty years as a human to understand our lives and challenges, spent three years as the anointed, the Christ doing miracles signs and wonders, making and guaranteeing His great and precious promises and teaching us His ways. Then sacrificed His body in the most painful way imaginable to punctuate and ensure the fulfillment of all of His declarations and promises with the open wounds on His back and His precious blood, “So that WHOSOEVER (You) believes and believes in Him will never perish but live with Him in His glory in Heaven forever and ever.”
(John 3:14-18)
What more could He do to prove that He loves us? Read on.
Let’s take out several Holy Hooey Cows at once:
God does not take things from us! He does not take people away! He does not destroy things! The opposite is true! Jesus came to give us life in abundance. That is correct! God came here and died that horrendous death to guarantee that you would have abundant life!
(John 10:10, Luke 6:38, 2Corinthians 9:6-14)
There is one who comes to kill, steal, and destroy. I have come that they (you fill in your name) May have life and have it in abundance.
(John 10:10)
Could Jesus be more precise about the dichotomy between Him and the evil one? Anyone who teaches or says that God takes things from us, including loved ones, is calling Him a murderer in deed or indifference-based neglect. They are also calling Him a thief.
Why doesn’t Jesus answer my prayers? Because of the ignorance propagated by religion. Religion teaches us that God has to be asked for the things that Jesus has already given us. So, we pray and ask Him for them, demonstrating our unbelief. Unbelief stops receipt.
Belief is the engine of receipt!
Jesus taught us to believe that we have received. (past tense Mark 11:24) Because we have received!
“Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who HAVE obtained a faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
MEANING: We who believe in and believe Jesus have received His faith by His righteousness! Faith does not come from “hearing and hearing and hearing! It is a gift from Jesus.
“May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.
His divine power HAS granted to us ALL THINGS that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His glory and excellence, by which He HAS granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.”
(2Peter1:1-4)
We do not need to lust after things that Jesus bought us with His blood! HE HAS GIVEN US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO LIFE AND GODLINESS By fulfilling the law for the Jews and being hung on the cross for the Gentiles (us).
The late great Theologian Loyd Skidmore coined the phrase that sums up the Gospel and determines the course of our lives: “Believe and Receive, doubt and do without!” Jesus taught us the same thing! (Mark 9:23)
We pray incorrectly or amiss, as Paul wrote! Ask yourself what ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO LIFE AND GODLINESS do not include.
So, we should not ask for what has already been given to us. We should give thanks for them just as if we could see them now.
Pressed to feed fifteen thousand hungry Men, Women, and children, Jesus did not ask God for the food. He gave thanks in advance and the food appeared. Enough for all the people and twelve baskets left over for the unbelieving disciples.
(John 6:11)
God does not tempt or test us!
“Let no man say when he is tempted or tested that he is tempted or tested by God because God is not tempted or tested by evil, neither does he tempt any man.”
(James 1:13)
You must Confess, repent, and be baptized!
Jesus never said the Word confess! When the disciple John spoke of confessing our sins one to another, he meant that we admit that we have sinned and do sin and, therefore, need salvation; he spoke of a one-time event.
When Jesus and John the Baptist spoke of repentance, they also meant a one-time event. Baptism is a continuation of a Hebrew cleansing ritual that has nothing to do with Jesus followers.
The entire baptism business is based on a mistranslation/interpretation of the great commission when Jesus gave this instruction:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.“
(Matthew 28:19)
The root of the Word baptize in this context is IMMERSE.
IMMERSE them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, meaning the Word. As in, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus meant to IMMERSE them in the Word. Otherwise, He would have instructed them and us to baptize in water. He was never ambiguous.
(John 1:1)
THE ONLY REQUIREMENT FOR SALVATION AND TO RECEIVE ALL OF GOD’S BLESSINGS, WHICH HE HAS LAVISHED ON US, IS TO BELIEVE AND BELIEVE IN JESUS.
(John 6:28, John 3:14-18)
Jesus healed every disease, known and unknown, and carried them away.
(Psalm 103:1-3, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, 1Peter2:24)
We receive that healing by refusing not to believe, by digging our heels in, and becoming immovable in our belief regardless of what we see, hear, touch, taste, or smell.
Jesus forgave all our past, present, and future sins by His sacrifice once and for all!
( Psalm 103:1-3&12, Isaiah 53:4-5, John 1:29, 1Peter2:24, Hebrews 8:12, Hebrews 10:10-18, Revelation 1:5)
Jesus knows us and calls us by our names! We know His voice! (John 10:3-10)
WHAT MORE COULD JESUS DO TO PROVE HOW MUCH HE LOVES EACH OF US?
The essence of this message is that there are many who are ignorant of the Love of Jesus for us as individuals, the Great and Precious Promises of Jesus, the price he paid to guarantee them and our eternal life in glory with Him. Jesus wants those of us who know to take this message to the entire world, immersing them in the Name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the TRUTH OF HIS GOSPEL!
