YOU ARE NUMBER ONE!
Have you ever wondered where you personally stand in the eyes of God?
The answer is that you are number one! You are the most important thing to God. His love for you is unconditional, regardless of your beliefs or actions. Jesus cherishes you whether you feel like the King of Siam or a lowly, rotten sinner. His love is unwavering, even if you hate Him. Nothing can separate you from His love!
Is that hard to believe? Yes, indeed! Many times, we do things intentionally that we know break His heart. We frequently commit horrid sins and think we have lost our standing with Him because of them. NOT TRUE!
The fact is that God does not have a scorecard! He keeps no record of wrongs. He forgave us of all of our past, present, and future sins once and for all and has chosen not to be able to recall them. This reassurance brings peace to our hearts.
(1Corinthians 1:13, Zephaniah 3:17, Isaiahn 53:4-5, Psalm 103:1-3, John 1:29, John 3:16-18, 1 Peter 2:24, Hebrews 8:12, Hebrews 10:10-18, Revelation 1:5)
Jesus loves you so much that He gave you the free will to accept or reject His gift of eternal salvation and life with Him in Heaven. (John 3:16-18)
Jesus loves you so much that He set the bar so low for receiving His salvation and His Great and Precious Promises that all He requires of you to receive them is a choice to believe and believe in Him.
(John 6:28-29)
HOW CAN THAT BE?
That is a question we all have had at one time or another or have it now. Here is the answer:
“Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man forsake his thoughts; call upon Him while He is near (now, in this present moment). Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous (those who reject Jesus and live in their sins) his thoughts; let him return to the Lord (Jesus) that He may have compassion on him and to our God, for He will freely and abundantly forgive Him.
BECAUSE MY THOUGHTS ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS, NEITHER ARE YOUR WAYS MY WAYS, DECLARES THE LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts!
(Isaiah 55:8-9)
The person with the highest learning capacity in the world still can not begin to comprehend the thoughts and ways of God because God’s mind is infinite, and ours is limited to the capability of our finite brains.
AND THEN THERE IS THIS!
“For while we were still weak, at the right time, Jesus died for the ungodly. (every living thing) Because one will scarcely die for a righteous person, perhaps for a good person, one would dare even to die, BUT GOD SHOWS HIS LOVE FOR US IN THAT WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS. JESUS DIED FOR US!”
(Romans 5:8)
AND THIS:
“And you (all of us) were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air (old scratch, the evil one, the stench in God’s nostrils, the burnt up cankerworm, the father of all lies, satan, the devil.) the spirit that is now at work in the sons and daughters of disobedience (those who reject Jesus and live in sin)-among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
BUT GOD, BEING RICH IN MERCY, BECAUSE OF THE GREAT LOVE WITH WHICH HE LOVES US (You and me) EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN OUR SINS AND TRESPASSES, MADE US ALIVE TOGETHER WITH JESUS-BY GRACE (God’s willingness, ability, and power that have done those things for us that we can not and/or will not do for ourselves.) YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED- AND RAISED WITH HIM AND SEATED US WITH HIM IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES IN JESUS.
BECAUSE BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH (Now, in this present moment, faith is the substance of things joyfully celebrated, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. I have modified this definition to Living in this present moment, joyfully celebrating the receipt of the Great and precious promises of Jesus regardless of what our senses tell us, whether we can see them or not.) AND THIS IS NOT YOUR OWN DOING; IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD, NOT A RESULT OF WORKS SO THAT NO ONE MAY BOAST.”
(Ephesians 2:1-9)
You see, Holy Spirit has gone to great lengths to explain clearly that God cherishes you regardless of what you do or don’t do. He loves you so much just the way that you are that He died the most horrible, embarrassing, and painful death that any human ever has or ever will just for you.
YOU ARE GOD’S GLORIOUS INHERITANCE
Again, Holy Spirit emphasizes your value to God in a message that He delivered to us through His apostle Paul:
“I do not cease to give thanks for YOU, remembering YOU in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus, the Father of Glory, may give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints(those who believe and believe in Jesus) and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power toward those of us who believe, according to the working of His great might that He worked in Jesus when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, FAR ABOVE ALL RULE AND AUTHORITY AND POWER AND DOMINION, AND EVERY NAME THAT IS NAMED, NOT ONLY IN THIS AGE BUT IN THE ONE TO COME.
(Ephesians 1:16-21)
HE IS NOT WILLING THAT YOU SHOULD BE LOST!
Here, Jesus talks about You. He describes you as a little child and teaches those who hear Him that He will go to any length to save You. Jesus proved this by His death and guaranteed it by His blood. Then He explains that those obstructing you from believing in Him will be in deep, profound, eternal punishment.
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in Heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in Heaven.
What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?
And if He finds it (You, me, us), I say to you, he rejoices over it more than the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is the will of My Father who is in Heaven that none of these little ones should be lost!“
(Matthew 18:10-14)
“Whoever receives one such child in My name, receives Me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin (to reject Jesus), it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea!
(Matthew 18:5)
One of our dear partners sells millstones. I have seen them. They are massive in weight, and they must be heavy enough to grind wheat and corn into a powder.
RE-JOY YOURSELF!
Jesus, The Creator Of All Things, The King of All Kings, Cherishes You just the way you are! You are His Number One! Be at peace and know that He is with you now and until the end of the age! He will never leave you or forsake you!
He has caused your angels to see His face every day! You are what He wants more than anything! He has counted every hair on your head and every cell in your body! Trust Him! Believe Him! Love Him! Learn His Words, Believe His Words, Employ His Words, and Believe without doubt that He loves you so much that He guaranteed His Words with His blood.
Jesus died that horrid death so His joy and gladness would be in you, and your joy and gladness would be complete and overflowing.
