BUILDING YOUR HOUSE ON THE SAYINGS OF OUR KING
PART THREE
“So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the Rock. And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the Rock.
And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a foolish (stupid) man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the winds blew and it fell-and tremendous and complete was its destruction.”
(Matthew 7:24-26)
Jesus emphasized the need and blessings of building our lives on His sayings. It is undoubtedly critical to do just that if we want to live lives of joy, peace, contentment, health, prosperity, freedom, and happiness.
How, though, are we to build our lives on Jesus’ sayings if we do not know them? Worse, how can we build our lives on the sayings of Jesus if we know them and choose not to believe them?
This is why it is so vital that we continue to study, learn, meditate on, and choose to believe Jesus’ Words.
Our King of Kings told us that if we continue in His Words, we will know the truth, and the truth will make us free. Free form what? Whatever we need to be made free from!
LET’SLET’S LOOK AT THE AREA OF HEALTH
People ask me frequently if Jesus healed every disease known and unknown to man by dying from them on the
cross and thus destroyed them, why are there, hospitals?
The answer is simple — the collective unbelief of the people. In His own home town, Jesus could do no mighty works because of the unbelief of the people.
If the vast majority knew that Jesus destroyed illness and rendered it powerless, and chose to believe that fact steadfastly, there would be no need for hospitals.
The church and teachers who should know the truth, have
kept the children of Jesus ignorant and uninformed of what Jesus accomplished on the cross since the day He evacuated His earth suit.
Build your body and your beliefs about your health on the
Rock of these saying of Jesus and the Holy Spirit:
These teachings are from the Amplified Bible, which I believe to be the most accurate translation from Hebrew and Greek and Aramaic Words into English Words.
“When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons; and He cast out the evil spirits with a word, and RESTORED TO HEALTH ALL who were sick, so that He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: He Himself took our infirmities [upon Himself] and carried away our diseases.””
(Matthew8:17-18)
“Surely He HAS borne our griefs our maladies, sicknesses, weaknesses, diseases, and calamities and carried our sorrows and pains, yet we ignorantly considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God.” (Isaiah 53:4)
When Jesus was in the process of dying, He became a raving lunatic. He was entirely in His flesh dying from every disease known and unknown to man and bearing the punishment for and all of man’s sins: past, present, and future in His body. He was unrecognizable as a human being.
Until Jesus died, the Jews were still under the ten commandments. Their law stated that if they failed to keep one of the commandments or man-made ordinances that they would be cursed and smitten by God and were punished horribly with the curses of the Abrahamic covenant, which are ghastly. Read them in Deuteronomy chapter 28, beginning with verse 15.
So when they saw Jesus in this condition, they thought that God was punishing him.
“He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice, so that we might die to sin; becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed.””
(1Peter2:24)
King David, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, wrote this prophecy, which became a fact at the cross.
“Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name.
Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And do not forget any of His benefits; Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases!(Psalm 103:1-3)
If you want to walk in supernatural health and well being, ingest those scriptures. Meditate on them! Plant them in your heart. Refuse to believe anything else.
Please learn this, especially those of you who have had and believe a negative diagnoses from physicians. Jesus not only healed us, but He gave us the power to heal ourselves and others as well.
We have the ability, authority, and responsibility to command our brains to do our bidding, and it MUST obey us!
Our bodies are made up of hundreds of trillions of cells and infinite sub-cells. Each of them contains DNA strips that can individually recreate us from the ground up.
We have the right and power to speak to our brain and command it to demand our good cells to rise and destroy any rebellious or illegal cells in our bodies, which is what diseases, especially cancer, are.
Here are His authoritative statements regarding health that we would do well to head:
“And Jesus said to them, Have faith in God constantly. Truly I tell you WHOEVER says to this mountain (meaning any mountain in your life), Be lifted and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, IT WILL BE DONE FOR HIM!”
(Mark 11:22)
In the fourteenth chapter of John immediately after Jesus declared that He was the Way and the Truth and the LIfe and that He is God. He made this promise:
“I assure you most solemnly I tell you if ANYONE steadfastly believes In Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do, and he will do even greater things than these because I go to My Father.”
(John 14:12)
If you meditate on these promises from Jesus, take them into your heart and make a decision to believe them without a shadow of a doubt, and implement them, you will be amazed at the truth of Jesus, demonstrated in your life.
