Stomping Devil Butt.
As Jesse Duplantis says, a little girl spun her headaround and threw up pea soup and millions of peoplewet their pants. The scene was from the movie: The Exorcist.
It was a movie about a young girl who was possessed by demons. People who saw it were afraid to look in their closets for years. Some people looked under their beds at night before they went to sleep, checking for demons.
The insanity spread to the church as people began doing crazy rituals to rid themselves of the evil one’s demons.
They were going wild having evangelists lead them into “coughing or puking up demons”. They even had a name for it.
They called it deliverance. Suddenly everyone had to be delivered from demons.
Folks would have some guy who had a “Special Anointing”come to their home and have him lather the place with “anointing oil” and drive the demons off or their
property.
Honestly, one Wacko preacher in south Georgia had people come to him from all over the south to be “delivered” and puke their demons into buckets. Reasonably intelligent folk bought into the flummery and some even boasted about it.
Even though common sense and the Word tell us that demons can not coexist with the Holy Spirit, people were delivered from demons of different types. One dude professed that a certain person and persons had hundreds of demons inside of them. He declared that they must be extricated through shouting at them and commanding them to come out.
All of which could be entirely accurate if the person or persons weren’t saved followers of Jesus. But the ones the man attacked were saved.
People believed more in the power of the evil one than they did in the Word of God. Today people are trembling in fear of the evil one and giving him credit for things that he did not do, because they have been taught that just like God, the devil is omniscient and omnipresent. The burnt up cankerworm does not have the power to hide your car keys.
Part of the fear is based on this scripture which is an admonition to the children of Israel who had not been saved and given dominion over satan:
“Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.”
(1Peter5:8)
This teaching is good advice even today. However, today the only way the evil one can devour us is if we come into agreement with his lies!
Old Lions don’t hunt. The lionesses hunt.
The old lions are set in a different direction from the pack of lionesses. They roar as loud as they can, the prey hear the old pretenders and run away, right into the pack of lionesses who viciously dispatch them with extreme violence. Butt boil is no different. He has no power but to roar.
Understand this! satan (God calls him an unwanted growth, I call him butt boil which is about as unwanted a growth as is possible.) is totally powerless to do anything but lie.
Never forget that he is the father of all liars. He is the greatest liar and deceiver of all! He can lie the ears off of a plastic elephant. He has conned the wisest of all men. Being sober and vigilant means to be so skilled at hearing
the voice of Jesus that you instantly discern who is talking to you. It means to instantly rebuke the lie.
I am not kind to the jackass. When he starts telling me that I am not smart enough, good enough or not attractive enough etc, and especially when he calls my PaPa names using the voice of preachers I go ballistic.
Here is a typical blasting I give him with many expletives mixed in:
Ok butt boil, you wish to speak to me? Very well, but I will go first and tell the truth and anything that comes from you is pure BS. So, scratch do you remember when Jesus threw you to earth at the speed of light? How bad did that hurt? How did you feel when you were stripped of everything including rank and power and were forced to walk the earth in the lowly state that you find yourself in now?
How does it feel to be burnt to ashes? Have you ever smelled burning sulfur? Well, you will, and for all time. Jesus is about to throw you again but this time farther and faster. He is going to throw you into the hell that you deny exists.
You will be burned and tormented for all of eternity. You will live in a place of putrid, squalid, decay, rot, and horrid stench, you will suffer from every disease that you brought into the world through the unbelief that you spread, for all of time.
You will not influence, anyone regarding anything. You will hear nothing except your own agonized screams for mercy and there will be none. You will see nothing but white-hot fire.
You will beg for forgiveness and shout out loud that Jesus is Lord. No one will hear your pleading for grace and hope and healing. There you will only experience the most painful existence anyone ever will forever.
No worm, there will be no escape for you. You have cast your own fate. You were God’s highest created being.
You had all the riches of the world. You had more gold and silver than Solomon in all of his splendor. All music was encased in you. You were God’s number one.
But you let your ego convince you that you could be higher than God. You declared it to the world. Now you are the lowest thing that exists and completely naked of anything but a lying mouth. Your fate will be on you in the blink of an eye, there is no way out for you. Now, what was it you wanted to lie to me about?
The stench in the nostrils of God never stops telling us lies in hope that we will come into agreement and either repeat his lies or come into agreement with him.
Example: You have a sniffle. Butt Boil: “It’s stage 4 lung cancer”. You: “no it’s not!” Butt Boil: “It’s pneumonia!” You:
“I don’t think so.” Butt Boil: “Ok it’s severe influenza. 6weeks of misery.” You: “Possibly.” Butt Boil: It’s severe bronchitis! You: “That is it” I have severe bronchitis.
I know a man that proclaims to anyone who listens to him, that he gets a severe case of bronchitis every year at this time. Guess what.
Why people speak word curses over themselves is a true mystery but it happens every day:
“I will never go anywhere in life!!!”
“I am always sick!”
“I am as blind as a bat!”
“When my ship comes in it will be full of unpaid bills.”
“When I see the light at the end of the tunnel it will be
a steaming locomotive coming right at me.”
“I am not good at (fill in the blank)
“I am worth more dead than I am alive!”
“I am not going to get that job. I am not qualified!”
“I never have 2 nickels to rub together.”
“They will not give me that promotion!”
“I live paycheck to paycheck”
“My father died of heart disease so I will too.”
“My mother had Alzheimer’s so I probably will get it too.”
“People don’t like me!”
“I think I am catching the flu.”
Have you ever heard of anyone who said those words not getting the flu? I have no idea why anyone would want to chase the flu much less catch it.
If you have ever uttered words like those or others similar to them,You have come into agreement with satan. And because you allowed that message into your heart you will declare it out loud. So, you have spoken bronchitis into existence.
Here is the spiritual principle behind this: A good person from the treasure in his heart, brings out good things; and the evil man, from his [inner] evil treasure, brings out evil things.” (Matthew 12:34)
Let’s simplify this by paraphrasing: Good Men are those who steadfastly believe Jesus and conform to His way of thinking. Bad men are those who do not believe Jesus whether they are proclaimed “believers” or not.
Those who truly believe Jesus beyond the shadow of a doubt speak His Words without a shadow of doubt, and they are always positive words and scripture backed statements. Those who claim to believe Jesus but don’t really, and those who outright reject the Gospel of Jesus, speak bad words over themselves and others.
Jesus was admonishing the hypocritical Pharisees and Sadducees about the content of their hearts. They still abound unabated in their ego driven lives.
The meaning of the teaching is that whatever we allow into our hearts will come out of our mouths. This is true whether the thoughts are good or evil. What is in our hearts will come out of our mouths!
Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him”
This is a law, whether you say negative things without doubt or whether you say positive things without doubt.
YOU WILL HAVE WHAT YOU SAY WITHOUT DOUBT.
“For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.
(Mark 11:22-24)
We will have what we speak as long as we have no doubt in our hearts about it.
If you truly believe that you have severe bronchitis, without doubt. You will speak it into existence, and it all started with an agreement with a lie from butt boil.
Here is butt boils favorite lie: “Surely He Did Not Say.”
It is the greatest lie of all time. It got Eve and Adam in agreement with him and sin entered the world. There was no apple! God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They did not eat an apple!
They allowed their eyes to see the sin that scratch showed them. Until that moment, they were not aware of what sin was and therefore committed none.
The stench in God’s nostrils is still selling his favorite lie
to people of all faiths and denominations. I hear it every day when I teach the unaltered truth of Jesus’ promises. Here is an example:
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do, and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach] because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name as My representative, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it.”
(John 14:12-14)
Try teaching that to a traditional church. The responses vary but go mostly like this: “Yes, but that was only for the disciples.”
“Yes, but God will not give you anything that does not agree with His Word.” “Yes, but you have to ask out of a pure heart.” “Yes, but you must pray in His will.” “Yes, but it is in His time.” “Yes, but God will not bless a sinner.” ” Yes but God only helps those who help themselves.” ” Yes, but you must have enough faith which comes by hearing and hearing and hearing.”
Go back and read that scripture slowly and carefully and notice that Jesus never added any qualifiers to this or any of His blood guaranteed promises. Underline these words: Anyone, Whatever, Will Do, and Anything.
All of the: “Yes But’s” are agreements with the stench’s original lie to man. “Surely He did not say!”
Jesus rendered satan powerless by stomping his butt!
Here is what Jesus did so that the evil one can in no way harm us:
He said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like [a flash of] lightning.”
“Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan), and nothing will [in any way] harm you.”
“Nevertheless do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”
(Luke 10:18-20 Amplified)
Whenever the term serpents is used in the Bible it is a reference to the evil one. Scorpions are his demons and
followers.
Jesus saw the stench fall from heaven because it was Jesus who threw him!
He landed in what is now Iran and many of his servants live there today. Most Iranians are wonderful people. I know several Iranians who escaped Iran before the mullahs took over. There are many many Christians in Iran and their numbers are growing rapidly. The descendants of satan are the rulers of that country and their loyal followers.
Here is the takeaway: Jesus gave us the power to stomp and defeat the evil one. It’s up to us to render him powerless with the weapons that Jesus has given us. Jesus can do no more for us than He already has. Watch these two episodes where Jesus clearly demonstrated that He expects us to use our power to overcome the liar:
“Simon, Simon (Peter), listen! Satan has demanded permission to sift [all of] you like grain; but I have prayed [especially] for you [Peter], that your faith [and confidence in Me] may not fail; and you, once you have turned back again [to Me], strengthen and support your brothers [in the faith].”
(Luke 22:31 Amplified)
Simply put: Jesus teaches us in this episode that the only way to overcome the evil one is by employing the free gift of Jesus’ faith (Living in this present moment, celebrating the receipt of the blood guaranteed promises of Jesus, regardless of what we see! Hebrews 11:1) which we received with our acceptance of Him. We need only celebrate joyfully the power over satan that Jesus died to give us.
Here is another example of Jesus teaching that it is up
to us to kick the devil’s butt:
“Because of the surpassing greatness and extraordinary nature of the revelations [which I received from God], for this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself as important, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, (by the evil one) a messenger of Satan, to torment and harass me—to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me; but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you.”
My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.”
“Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Jesus may completely enfold me and may dwell in me.”
Here is what that statement from Jesus means:
His grace (His willingness, ability, and power that has done for us, those things that we can not or will not do for ourselves.) defeated butt boil. It is up to us to live in this present moment celebrating that fact, regardless of what we see. When Jesus said that His grace was sufficient, He meant that it is all we will ever need.
In addition to destroying the evil one for us, and giving us dominion over all of his powers, Jesus taught us all about his favorite tricks:
The lust of other things, The Pride of life, the Cares of this world (Item one under the cares of this world, The fear of what other people think of me.) and the deceitfulness of riches. (Jesus wants us to have riches. What he means by the deceitfulness of riches is when they become more important than He is in our lives). Jesus taught us these things so that we would be prepared to fight against them, and not fall for them.
So my dear brothers and sisters fear not. The evil one is but a burnt up, powerless, loud-mouthed cankerworm.
He is persistent and determined and he is a skilled liar, thief, and murderer. He is the conman of all conmen. He lies to us 24-7. He lies to us all night and especially right when we wake in the morning. His lies are on a continuous loop. He attacks us at our weakest point.
Let’s say you grew up in an impoverished family. In your family, there were no savings and your folks lived paycheck to paycheck. Perhaps there was often not enough to eat.
The enemy of Jesus will pound you with fear of economic insecurity.
Let’s say the opposite is true. You grew up in a wealthy and successful family and you inherited a tidy sum of money. The enemy of Jesus will try to (often successfully) tell you that you must not share your wealth but guard it as tightly as possible. You too are under the spell of fear of economic insecurity, created for you by the father of all lies.
The way we receive the power that Jesus gave us over stench and all of his minions, is to believe Jesus and call Barbara Streisand on satan. We refuse to believe him.
We know the voice of Jesus because it is always loving and positive. We know the voice of the burnt up worm because it is always negative.
Remember that we are Jesus’ sheep: He is the GOOD Shepherd and the Gatekeeper or Doorkeeper is the Holy Spirit:
“I (Jesus) assure you and most solemnly say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold (butt boil), but climbs up from some other place, that one is a thief and a robber.” (scratch was not born! He was thrown into the earth.)
“But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep (Jesus came to us by the natural human door, through the womb of Mary.) the protector and provider. The doorkeeper (God the Father in the person of the Holy Spirit opens [the gate] for this man, (Gives Him authority over the sheep.) and the sheep hear his voice and pay attention to it.”
“And [knowing that they listen] he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out [to pasture]. (YES! Jesus knows you and calls you by your name!) When he has brought all his own sheep outside, he walks on ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice and recognize his call.”
“They will never follow a stranger, but will run away from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” Jesus used this figure of speech with them, but they did not understand what He was talking about.”
