The Love of Jesus Brought Us the State of Grace

THE LOVE OF JESUS BOUGHT US THE STATE OF GRACE

Far too few “believers” understand or even think about Grace, the blood-bought state that Jesus offers them. Instead, astonishingly many “believers” condemn and reject Grace.

Grace began with God’s infinite love for you personally.

Jesus demonstrated His love for you when He died for you regardless of your behavior or the lack thereof.

We have been taught that “Grace is unmerited favor.” Defining Grace as unmerited favor is like calling a Mercedes Benz a cup holder.

Holy Spirit guided me to the meaning of Grace through biblical research, dictionaries, and concordances. This is the definition that Holy Spirit gave me for Grace:

Grace is God’s willingness, ability, and power that has done for us those things which we can not or will not do for ourselves.” Such as salvation, healing, the forgiveness of all of our sins past, present, and future, giving us His power, giving us ALL things that pertain to life and godliness, including His Faith, regardless of our performance or lack thereof, and giving us the ability to speak things in and out of existence, dominion over all the powers of the evil one and his minions, and giving us the power to gain wealth.

(John 3:16-18, Isaiah 53:4-5, 1Peter2:24, Matthew 8:16-17, Psalms 103: 1-3 and 12, John 1:29, Zephaniah 3:17, John14:12-14, 2Peter1:1-4,Luke 10:18, Luke 6:38, Mark11:22-24)

Grace is infinite. It is not greasy or slippery. It is an eternal gift from our God, Who loves us beyond measure.

Holy Spirit dictated to Paul; our God-appointed teacher, these urgent Words, they are the foundation of our status with God:

But God, being so very rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we were dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us alive together with Jesus for by His Grace (see definition above) you have been saved from God’s judgment.

And He raised us up together with Him when we believed and seated us with Him in the heavenly places because we are in Jesus so that in the ages to come, He might clearly show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His Grace in His kindness toward us in Jesus.

For it is by GRACE that you have been saved through FAITH. And this salvation is not of yourselves, not through your own effort, but it is the gift of Godnot as a result of your works nor your attempts to keep the law, so that no one will be able to boast or take credit in any way for his salvation.

MEANING:

There is nothing we can or are required to do to earn anything from God.

For we are His workmanship, His own master work, a work of art, created in Jesus reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used for good works, which God prepared for us beforehand so that we would walk in them living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us.

Therefore, remember that at one time, you Gentiles by birth (all non-Jews) who are called “Uncircumcision” by those who called themselves “Circumcision,” which is a mark made in the flesh by human hand.

Remember that at that time, you were separated from Jesus, excluded from any relationship with Him, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise with no share in the sacred Messianic promise and without knowledge of God’s agreements, having no hope in His promise and living in the world without God.”

(Ephesians 2:8-11)

Meaning: We non-Jews were never under the Laws of Moses, the Ten Commandments, or the attached six hundred and three man-made ordinances. We were lost in the world without knowledge of God.

A Theologian remarked in a meeting that if anyone could show him where and when the gentiles were put under the law, he would eat his Bible maps leather and all right in front of them. That was decades ago, and to this day, no one has ever accepted the challenge.

So, Grace is a state of being offered to us at no charge as a gift from God, which we can not earn by our performance. Grace is the new relationship with God that replaced works. It was purchased for us and is guaranteed to us by the blood of Jesus.

We enter into the state of Grace through Faith (living in this present moment joyfully celebrating the receipt of the great and precious promises of Jesus without regard for what our senses tell us…IMP)

Here is how Holy Spirit explained it through our appointed teacher Paul.

THEREFORE, SINCE we are justified (found not guilty and placed in right standing, with God) through FAITH, let us grasp the fact that we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus.

Through Him (not us), we have access by Faith to this Grace in which we firmly and safely stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the Glory of God.”

(Romans 5:1-2)

PUNCTUATION FROM JESUS

They then said, What are we to do that we may habitually be working the works of God? What are we to do to carry out what God requires?

Jesus replied, THIS IS THE WORK THAT GOD ASKS OF YOU; THAT YOU BELIEVE ON THE ONE WHOM HE HAS SENT!”

(John 6:28-29)

As my partner says… Harumphhh! That is it, PERIOD!

Surely some of you who have been submitted to religion will quote James’s misinterpreted and mistranslated statement.

“Faith without works is dead.” What James meant was that Faith produces good works. When we submit our lives and surrender to Jesus, we do good works not out of obligation but out of love for Him.

WRAP

Jesus told Peter that He would give us the Keys to the Kingdom, and here they are.

Belief

Belief is a choice, a decision that only we can make. Jesus can not make us believe Him. But when we do, we are saved and inherit all of His blessings, and He lives within us forever.

When we decide to believe in Jesus and live by FAITH,

We enter into the state of GRACE.

Living in Grace is also a choice that we make. We can live our lives trying to earn things from Jesus or accept His gift of Grace; which will you choose?
