Praise, Laudation and Eulogy

“PAUL, A special messenger of Jesus, by the divine will, purpose and choice of God, to the saints (the Jesus followers at Ephesus and today) who are also faithful and loyal and steadfast in Jesus:

“May grace (God’s willingness and power that has done for us

those things which we can not or will not do for ourselves) and spiritual peace {which means peace with God and harmony, unity and undisturbedness} be yours from God our Father and From our Lord Jesus.”

“May BLESSING, PRAISE AND EULOGY be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus!!!!!!! Who has blessed us with EVERY

SPIRITUAL BLESSING IN HEAVEN!

THAT IS IT! Nothing more! Not turkeys! Not wine! Not wine! Not an excuse to get drunk! Not shopping! Not Football! (Especially NFL) Not a day off!

GIVING THANKS TO OUR WONDERFUL KING!

Try This: On Thanksgiving morning, write a list of the things

that our Loving, Forgiving, Merciful, Generous, Giving King has given you, delivered you from, led you into, and blessed you with.

Spend the rest of the day in contemplation of the glory and majesty of the one to whom we have pledged our eternal love.

Consider these:He ransomed you from the evil one and the consequences of your deeds. He gave you the gift of eternal life. He healed you of every disease known and unknown to man, once. He forgave you of all of your sins, past, present and future, once and for all.

He defeated the evil one, made an open show of him, and gave you dominion over all of his powers, so that nothing shall ever harm you. He gave you ALL THINGS that pertain to life and Godliness. He gave you His power and the ability to do the same

things He did and even greater. He left you the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth and to show you the things that are to come. He made you holy blameless and beyond reproach. He promised to give you anything you ask.

Not a bad starting point.

I challenge us all to actually make tomorrow a day of true, focused and determined thanks.

Praise: Read Davids psalms. They are the precise definition of praise. Start with Psalms 91 and 23.

Laudation: Laud our King, proclaim your love for Him in public. Do not be embarrassed to thank Him and acknowledge Him before your friends and relatives. Do not call Him Christ or Messiah, He is neither. He was them but now He is THE KING OF KINGS. Do not be ashamed of the name Jesus, it is the name above all other names. It is the name at which every thing that breathes will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

Eulogy. Have you ever heard a short eulogy. Eulogy is a description of all of the positive attributes of the one being eulogized.

This Thanksgiving me, my family and the board of directors of Throne of Grace will be giving thanks for you as we raise your names to our King in thanks for the overwhelming generosity and sustained and continuing love that you have lavished on us.

If this message has blessed or taught you, please send it to all of your email friends so that they may blessed as well.

Thanks,

Pastor Allen Fleming
