THE CHRISTMAS LIGHT
REMEMBER THIS: GOD, THE GREAT I AM, CREATOR AND MANAGER OF ALL THINGS, CAME TO EARTH IN THE FORM OF A HUMAN NAMED JESUS, JUST FOR YOU! YES! THE ONE AND ONLY GOD CAME TO EARTH!
THAT IS WHY WE PARTY OUT!
We all get swamped at this time of year. We are trying to cram eight weeks of work into six. Then we have all the holiday chores, social events, family get-togethers, etc. We are all wound up trying to get our “Got-To’s” done, and in the blink of an eye, Christmas is over, and we never delve deeply into its meaning.
STOP, BREATHE, THINK ABOUT THE REASON FOR
WHY WE DO ALL OF THIS! THEN DO THE MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL HAPPY DANCE!
It’s not about all the hoo-ha! It’s about God’s love for you!
Celebrate like you get it this year. Remember that Christmas is about how much God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit love you (You, fill in your name) just as you are without regard for your performance or lack thereof. They did it all for you because they love you that much. They did it because you are their glorious inheritance! (Ephesians 1:18)
THE CHRISTMAS LIGHT
We decorate with Christmas lights because Jesus is the Light. Check it out!
“When they had listened to the king, they went their way, and behold, the star which had been seen in the east in its rising went before them until it came and stood over the place where the young child (not baby) was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy!
(Matthew 2:9-10)
As I meditated on this scripture, Holy Spirit brought these Words into my heart:
“IN THE beginning before all time was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.“
(John 1:1)
” If you had known me, you would also have known my Father. From now on, you know Him and have seen Him.”
(John 14:12)
There is so much power in those Words. The Words of Jesus are God, and Jesus and God are the same. Therefore, the Gospel of Jesus is Holy because It is God.
Add this scripture to the mix; it is a declaration from God to all people everywhere; read it as a personal love message to you from God.
“And pay attention, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord flashed and shone all about them, and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; (too late, Mr. angel. they already soiled their clothes), for I bring you “GOOD NEWS OF GREAT JOY WHICH WILL COME TO ALL THE PEOPLE.” (Luke 2:9-10)
Meaning: The Gospel of Jesus is Holy and is God. The Gospel (God/Jesus/Holy Spirit) is GOOD NEWS OF GREAT JOY FOR ALL THE PEOPLE.
The “ALL THE PEOPLE” clause was stunning because the Jews believed that God only included them as His children and that Gentiles were excluded from all of the things of God. And until the instant of Jesus’s birth, that was true. So until the moment of Jesus’s birth, we had no portal to God except through His grace.
The words of “O Holy Night” apply here. “Long lay the world in sin and error pining (as defined by A.I. Error pining” means “longing for or suffering due to being in a state of error or wrong-doing,” essentially indicating a deep yearning for something better while being misguided or trapped in a mistaken path; it often appears in religious contexts where “pining” signifies a deep longing for redemption while being in a state of sin. ) till He appeared and the soul felt its worth! The joy, the hope a weary world rejoices for yonder breaks a new and glorious day!“

Back to the Christmas Light:
Let’s continue with the first chapter of John. Let’s allow John’s report to lead us to the Heavenly Light. Light is defined as pulsating, illuminating energy. It is what created and upholds all things. In the case of Jesus, it has two meanings. It also means enlightenment.
BUT FIRST
Peter wrote about the validity of the eyewitness accounts of the disciples, stating that they are not fiction but fact. Read His words:
‘For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
For when He received honor and glory from God The Father, and the voice was borne to Him by the majestic glory from God the Father, ” This is My beloved Son with whom I am well pleased,” we heard this very voice borne from heaven because we were with Him on the holy mountain (the mount of transfiguration).
And we have a more sure word of prophecy that you would do well to pay attention to, like a BRIGHT LIGHT, shining in dark room until the day dawns and the day star
(Holy Spirit) rises in your hearts.”
(2Peter1:16-19)
Jesus is also the enlightener. Here is the definition:
“The Messenger of spiritual knowledge or insight.”
Jesus, as God in the flesh, delivered and delivers through Himself in the role of Holy Spirit, the Truth, and the Life.” (John 14:6)
THE CHRISTMAS LIGHT
“All things were made and came into existence through Him (Jesus), and without Him, not even one thing was made that has come into being. In Him was life and the power to bestow life, and The Life was the Light of men. The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness (evil/ the evil one/flesh minds) did not, does not, and does not understand it, overpower it, appropriate it, or absorb it, and is not unreceptive to it.
There came a man commissioned and sent from God, John (John The Baptizer/Immerser). This man came as a witness to testify about the Light so that all might believe in Jesus, the Light through him. John was not the Light but came to testify about the Light.
There it was—The true Light, the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light that, coming into the world, enlightens everyone. He (King Jesus) was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.” (John 1:3-11)
The Words of Jesus:
“He who believes in Him (Jesus) is not judged; he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him, there is no rejection, no condemnation; but those who do not believe are judged already because they have not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
The judgment lies in this: The Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than The Light for their works were evil.“
(John 3:18-19)
“Once more, Jesus addressed the crowd. He said I AM THE LIGHT of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the dark but will have THE LIGHT, which is life.”
(John 812)
“As long as I Am in the world, I Am the world’s Light.”
(John 9:5)
“So Jesus said to them, You will have the Light only a little while longer. Walk while you have the Light. Keep living by it so that darkness (evil, the evil one, your flesh mind) does not overtake you. He who walks about in the dark does not know where he goes.”
While you have The Light, believe in The Light that you may become sons of The Light and be filled with The Light.”
(John 12:35-36)
“I have come as a Light into the world so that WHOEVER
believes in Me may not continue to live in darkness.“
(John 12:46)
HERE IS THE POINT
Jesus is THE LIGHT! He is THE TRUTH, THE WAY, AND THE LIFE. His Gospel is our path, our portal to eternal life with Him, and the blessed life He created for us here on earth. Without Jesus, there is only darkness, sin, and evil, and there is no hope.
Jesus is the God particle as well. He is in every minute atomic particle that created all things and maintains everything whether we believe in Him or not. That Light existed in the beginning and will for all time.
The star, the Light that led the astrologers and wise men, Maggi, was created by The Light. The star did not shine on Jesus. Instead, Jesus shined on the star so brightly that these students of stars were amazed by its intensity and were able to navigate by it for a thousand miles. Visualize The Light beaming itself so strongly to the star that the star could be seen for thousands of miles.
JESUS IS THE CHRISTMAS LIGHT. LET HIM SHINE IN YOUR HEART SO BRIGHTLY THAT WISE MEN WILL BE LED TO HIM THROUGH YOU. LET THE ETERNAL, UNCONDITIONAL, INCOMPREHENSIBLE LOVE OF THE LIGHT BEAM FROM YOUR HEART THIS CHRISTMAS AND GUIDE HIS CHILDREN OUT OF DARKNESS FOREVER.
