HOW COULD IT BE?
“For God SO GREATLY LOVES and dearly prizes the world, (YOU fill in your name here)
that He gave His only begotten Son (Left His Glorious Heaven put on an earth suit and suffered the indignity of humanity, and being tempted at all points as we are yet without sin, including; rejection by His creations and suffering the worst death any human ever has or will) so that WHOEVER believes and trusts in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world (YOU), but that the world (YOU) might be saved through Him.
WHOEVER believes and has decided to trust in Him is not judged; for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation; but the one who does not believe and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord is judged already; that one has been convicted and sentenced because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the Only-begotten Son of God! (God in the flesh; John 14:7)
Religion hates the word WHOEVER! Religion has taught the world to qualify and put conditions on this explicit, unequivocal declaration from God Himself in the person of Jesus.
HOW COULD IT BE?
How could it be that Jesus proclaimed that all God requires from us, period, is that we believe and believe in Jesus?
Then they asked Him, “What are we to do so that we may habitually be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered, “THIS IS THE WORK OF GOD, THAT YOU BELIEVE IN THE ONE WHOM HE HAS SENT.”
(John 6:28-29)
HOW COULD THIS BE?
“The next day, he (John the Baptist) saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world!” (John 1:29)
“Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me bless His holy name.
Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul,
And do not forget any of His benefits;
Who forgives ALL YOUR SINS
Who heals ALL YOUR DISEASES.”
“As far as the east is from the west,
So far, has He removed our transgressions from us!”
(Psalms 103:1-3 and 12)
“For I will be merciful and gracious toward their wickedness, And I will remember their sins no more.”
(Hebrews 8:12)
“And in accordance with this will of God, we who believe and believe in Jesus have been sanctified, that is, set apart as holy for God and His purposes through the offering of the body of Jesus once and for all.
Jesus, having offered the one sacrifice, the all-sufficient sacrifice of Himself for our sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God. For by the one offering, He has perfected forever and completely cleansed the sanctified (those who choose to believe and believe in Jesus). And Holy Spirit also adds His testimony to us in confirmation of this; for after having said,
“This is the covenant that I will make with them
After those days, says the Lord:
I will imprint My Words upon their heart,
And on their mind, I will inscribe them producing an inward change,”
He then says,
“And their sins and their lawless acts
I will remember no more, no longer holding their sins against them” Now, where there is absolute forgiveness and complete cancellation of the penalty of these things, there is no longer any offering required or necessary to pay for sin.”
(Hebrews 10:10-18)
How could it be that Jesus forgave all of our sins, past, present, and future, and chose to forget them forever? How could God the Father, God the Son, and God Holy Spirit have no record of wrongs for those who believe in Jesus? Just because they believe in Jesus and without regard for their behavior?
THE ANSWER IS LOVE
Not the love of mortals. A supernatural, divine, unqualified LOVE. A love that is beyond the powers of our finite minds to understand. A GODLY TYPE OF LOVE, that is, as infinite as time and space. A deep unconditional love for you (personally fill in your name) individually. The kind of love our souls yearn for and desire from mortals incapable of giving it.
A DIFFERENT VIEW
Jesus sees us in a very difficult, even impossible, way for us to understand. We often see ourselves and others from a judgmental or condemning point of view. Jesus has chosen to see us as Holy, Blameless, and beyond Correction.
“Even as in His love, He chose us, actually picked us out for Himself as His own in Jesus before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless in His sight, even above correction, before Him in love.”
(Ephesians 1:4)
Our flesh-driven minds focus on our flaws or the flaws of others from a performance-based and often religion-driven perspective. However, Jesus sees us through the eyes of His incomprehensible love and sees us as the sinless saints He made us at the cost of His perfect sacrifice.
Here is how Holy Spirit revealed Jesus’s love for us to Paul, the teacher to the gentiles. It is written as instruction for us, yet, it describes the attributes of Jesus’s love.
“Love is patient; love is kind. It does not envy; it does not boast; it is not proud. It does not dishonor others; it is not self-seeking; it is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, love always perseveres.”
(1Corinthians 13:4)
YOU ARE GOD’S GLORIOUS INHERITANCE
Paul wrote this message to us under the inspiration, guidance, and dictation of Holy Spirit:
“I always pray that the God of our Lord Jesus, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation that gives you a deep, personal, and intimate insight into the true knowledge of Him, for we know the Father through the Son.
And I pray that the eyes of your heart, the very center and core of your being, may be flooded with light by Holy Spirit so that you will know and cherish the hope, the divine guarantee, the confident expectation to which He has called you, THE RICHES OF HIS GLORIOUS INHERITANCE in the saints! (God’s people, those who believe and believe in Jesus”: John 6:8-29, Ephesians 1:17-18)
Every living being is God’s Glorious Inheritance whether they accept Jesus or not. To not believe and believe in Jesus is to reject that state of being and therefore condemn one to separation from God for eternity. (John 3:16-18, and John 14:6)
Isn’t it right that we should, in turn, choose to love Jesus, the King of Love to the best of our ability and therefore behave in a way that pleases Him?
