Christmas is about Seeing the Unseen

“Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief, fleeting) but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting”
(2Corinthians4:18)

“IF THEN you have been raised with Jesus to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead, aim at and seek the rich eternal treasures that are above, where Jesus is, seated at the right hand of God. And set your minds and keep them set on what is above(the higher things) not on the things that are on the earth.”
(Colossians3:2)

“The Father has delivered us and drawn us to Himself out of the control and dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love”.
(Colossians 1:13)

So, we get to choose whether we focus on the seen, (this natural world and all of the things that come with it) or the unseen( the heavenly realm that we have been delivered to). We have a human body that is attached to the seen. But where we dwell is a choice that we make. For instance, we can especially now get caught up in all of the negative circumstances surrounding us and spend all of our time on earthly events, or we can choose to focus on the Love and Joy and Happiness of Jesus and attempt to walk as a shining light representative of His being, that has taken us over.

The angel of the Lord Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her that she would become pregnant with the Son of God. He told her that she was blessed among all other women. He told her that she would not become pregnant in the usual way, but that the Spirit of God would hover over her as a bright shining light and she would become pregnant.

When Mary said, “Let It Be Done Unto Me As You Have Said”. She saw the unseen! She received the Word of God. God is His Word. In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God.All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him nothing was made that has come into being.”
(John1:1)

So when Mary BELIEVED THE UNSEEN, WHEN SHE RECEIVED THE WORD, SHE RECEIVED JESUS! SHE BECAME IMPREGNATED WITH JESUS! (Andrew Womack’s Bible commentary)

Consider the POWER OF BELIEF IN THE UNSEEN! Think how Mary’s choice to believe the unseen changed her world forever! Christmas is a great time to challenge ourselves to buy in 100% to the Word of God and therefore be happy and strong in the Lord and the Power of His might and the Power and inheritance that He has given us!

How much time will you focus on the unseen this Christmas? Do you want Christmas to slow down? Live one moment at a time enjoy every single moment. Want to have a happy, joyous, Mary Christmas?
